ArcMail Technology Launches ArcMail Defender U3120 Email Archiving and Management Appliance

Shreveport, LA. - May 22, 2007 - ArcMail Technology, a leading provider of email archiving and management technology, today announced the release of ArcMail Defender U3120. The ArcMail Defender U3120 mail archiving and management system is a stand-alone network appliance that provides comprehensive archive and data management technology with on-board storage for medium-sized organizations with 2,000 to 5,000 users. The ArcMail Defender U3120 appliance is a transparent solution that runs seamlessly in the background of a network infrastructure without interrupting productivity or work flow. The ArcMail Defender U3120 captures all inbound, outbound and internal email using the journaling function of companies' mail servers, which indexes the email header and text information. The new appliance operates on the Linux platform and is compatible with MS Exchange and other mail servers with SMTP journaling functionality. It is also compatible with Active Directory, which allows for automatic user account management.
